Hello, my name is Jazmyne Baylis. Many call me ‘Jazz’. I am originally from Detroit, Michigan and moved to Atlanta, Georgia when I was eight years old with my mom. Raised as an only child, I now have many sisters (DZD Sorors) of all ages from all over the United States.
I currently reside in Albany Georgia, where the talented musician, composer and the world's greatest blues singers of all times “Ray Charles” was born. My loving family who supports me consists of my adoring husband (married January 2011), my beautiful and smart children. One son, one daughter and one Goddaughter. In addition to my family, we have one pet that is a pit bulldog.
In. 2007, I graduated from Central Gwinnett High school. I received my Associates of Science Degree in 2011 and became a Registered Medical Assistant here in Albany, Georgia. I started in an OB/GYN office and currently employed in a primary care office. July 2023, I received my Bachelor's of Science Degree (Healthcare Management).
In year of 2017, I became a Girls Scout Troop Leader and a First Responder. I am a passionate and supportive participant in all my children’s lives. After-school programs and activities along with my duties in serving my community. I am extremely delighted and proud to be on this sisterhood journey side by side with my daughters who are Delta Zeta Delta Juniors. As an active and Founding Member of the Georgia Chapter of Delta Zeta Delta Sorority, Inc, I hold in high respect and also humbled to walk among some wonderful, intelligent, talented and beautiful women from all walks of life. We are not just members in an organization, we are women who have become lifelong friends that, love, support, respect, and is loyal to one another. We are a true sisterhood that is always on the same TEAM. We are women who are aiming to make this world a better and easier place to live filled with more love while diminishing hatred.
Delta Zeta Delta Sorority Inc. is dedicated to empowering young women and helping them reach their full potential. The Delta Zeta Delta Juniors program is designed for girls ages 6-17.
The Juniors program allows younger girls to get an early start on leadership development, community service, and sisterhood. While this program is operated under our Delta Zeta Delta Sorority Inc. name, its functions are separate from our collegiate chapters. DZD Juniors will participate in age-appropriate activities focused on growth and enrichment.
For ages 13-17, we provide more advanced leadership opportunities, educational workshops, volunteer activities, and sisterhood bonding events. Senior members serve as role models for our juniors while preparing them for adulthood.
Parents are an integral part of the Delta Zeta Delta Junior Sorority experience. It is important for parents to actively support their daughters' participation. Parental involvement starts during the membership process, with parents reviewing materials, attending information sessions, and signing permission forms. Once their daughter joins, parents can volunteer to chaperone events, assist their daughter in leading workshops and so much more. Family members are also invited to special events.
By collaborating with parents, we create a supportive community that allows each girl to get the most out of her experience. Open communication between parents, Delta Zeta Delta Juniors Vice President and advisors. Working together help us w meet the needs of all members.
Interested girls can join requesting an application via email to firstname.lastname@example.org
